Prepare for your unforgettable adventure.

Bring layers of clothing so that you will be comfortable during warm days and at night when the sun disappears behind the hills and the air turns crisp to chilly. Don’t forget shoes that can withstand cobblestone streets, weather short downpours during the rainy season (June-October), and provide good support as you hike along jungle paths or climb to the tops of Maya ruins. We have umbrellas for guests if you don’t want to carry your own.

No matter where we go in the world, we always travel with a mini-med kit: something to ward off colds or to tame them; anti-acid for slight upsets and something stronger just in case; antiseptic ointment to keep small cuts from becoming infected; critter repellent for the lowlands; sunscreen; hand sanitizer; packets of tissue for travel where there are sketchy sanitation facilities.
